Mark Reid

Mark is a highly motivated hands-on professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He brings with him more than eight years of trade-based experience, including Civil and Construction Works, Rail Networks and Earthworks. Mark is dedicated to delivering results in diverse and time pressured environments, with safety as a key motivator. Mark has led a large project for PSG, co-ordinating the installation of new MYKI ticketing gates and pedestals, as well as infrastructure across Regional and Metro train stations and tram stops.

Mark has been with ActivateRail since the beginning and in 2019 was appointed Interface Consulting Manager before his appointment as Rail Operations Manager in 2020. He has managed a large number of projects from conception through to delivery, including work on the Victorian Government’s Level Crossing Removal Project and the installation of Advertisement Boards throughout the entire MTM network. He has worked with a variety of stakeholders to produce site safety documentation, procurement of goods and materials, delivery of works on site and project safety to ensure quality parameters are maintained.

Mark has over a decade of experience in the rail industry, including practical and management experience. His customer service focus means he excels at delivering for his clients.
