After two years as a Project Engineer with Sterling Group, David joined as founding member with ActivateRail in January 2018. Currently, he is engaged to drive constant Business Improvement across all facets of the ActivateRail business and ensuring that ActiavteRail leaders have the required tools and skills to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.
In addition to this, David has a strong understanding of all aspects of management of rail projects throughout the project lifecycle. This experience has proved critical in the multitude of roles David has successfully delivered including acting as Project Manager for several Design and Construct Programs for Complex Structures Maintenance with V/Line and Rail Interface Lead for a number of major projects (Metro Tunnel Project on behalf of Metro Trains Melbourne and Flinders Street Station Redevelopment Project on behalf of Built). Further to this, David’s strong knowledge of project management was exemplified when he acted as the Programme Manager for Sterlings Engineering and Asset Management team.
David has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) and Bachelor of Business at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. His post-graduate training includes Rail Safe Working Level 3 and Working at Heights Awareness.
